Around the World: Why wanderlust is our most honest design principle
Share
Wanderlust is hard to put into words, but everyone knows the feeling: looking at a map, a photo from somewhere far away, and suddenly your mind is already on the move. That very feeling is what gave rise to "Around the World" – our collection that has the least to do with a specific place and the most to do with a longing.
The motifs are globally inspired: colors, shapes, and moods that evoke distant coasts, cities, or landscapes without retelling a specific journey. The starting point is always an idea from the owner – a feeling, a memory, a picture in their head. AI tools help translate this image into a motif that didn't exist before. No stock photo, no catalog design, but a unique piece born from a genuine creative decision.
Thought globally, printed locally
The actual contradiction we wanted to resolve with this collection is obvious: How do you bring wanderlust and sustainability together without one playing against the other? Our answer is print-on-demand. Every shirt with an "Around the World" motif is only printed when it is ordered – locally, without goods being shipped halfway around the world and ultimately discarded unsold. The journey stays in your mind, not in a shipping container.
This also distinguishes the collection from classic travel or souvenir fashion, which is often mass-produced and disappears after the season. With us, there are no seasons, no mass-produced goods, and no motif that appears ten times elsewhere. What you wear is exactly that one design that was conceived in exactly that way.
Ultimately, "Around the World" is less about specific places than it is about an attitude: remaining curious without losing sight of the origin of your own clothing. Organic materials, fair production, and a motif created honestly – for us, that is the only way to wear wanderlust that we can truly stand behind.
