Direct to Garment (DTG) – environmentally friendly.

Many of our garments are printed using innovative Direct-to-Garment (DTG) technology. This involves applying the ink directly to the fabric, where it is absorbed into the fibers – similar to printing on paper, but for textiles.

We use Kornit printing machines, which produce hardly any wastewater and consume significantly less energy compared to conventional industrial equipment. The inks used are Oeko-Tex certified, vegan, water-based, and free of harmful substances. Excess ink is disposed of strictly according to our suppliers' guidelines – for maximum environmental safety.

Embroidery with a clear conscience.

For our embroidery, we exclusively use 100% recycled polyester threads. These are also Oeko-Tex certified and therefore completely safe for adult and children's clothing. Compared to printing, embroidery is particularly durable and produces less waste as no ink residues are generated. A quality feature that lasts – and is sustainable.

Sustainable materials – clearly defined.

At Georg Werner, our sustainable products consist of at least 70% organic or recycled materials (or a mixture thereof). All beauty products in this collection are natural certified.

To guarantee the material promises, we only accept official certificates:

• Organic content: GOTS or OCS certificate

• Recycled content: GRS or RCS certificate

• Natural cosmetics: Ecocert COSMOS certificate

This way, we ensure that every sustainable product truly has a verified standard behind it.
